Since early 2006, Apple has been paying Justin Long to lie about Macintosh and Windows computers in its commercials. He’s also an actor and is starring in the upcoming movie Live Free or Die Hard (2007) with Bruce Willis and Kevin Smith.

Lie? Are you mental? Microsoft is garbage and Mac’s have always and will always be better. Do you know anything about computers?
Apple’s commercials make it seem as though Macintosh computers can produce photo albums, DVD movies, and song playlists and that Microsoft Windows is only capable of producing spreadsheets and graphs. This is completely untrue. Anything that can be done in OS X can also be done in Microsoft Windows and vice versa. I edit photos, browse web sites, create CDs and DVDs, and send email every day using Windows XP.
The commercials also make it seem as though Windows constantly crashes, freezes, or locks up. Again, this is completely untrue. I run the same software on OS X and Windows XP every day at work and at home and both systems crash no more than a few times a year.
My only gripe with OS X is the lack of visual customization. I wish Apple would allow users to disable the cartoony, glossy, rounded buttons, borders, and scroll bars. They make OS X look too much like a toy.
