i’m a big fan of stupid plots in cartoons, but even i think some of the ‘transformers’ and ‘g.i. joe’ shows were TOO stupid! i particularly love the fantastical elements added to ‘g.i. joe’ – such a great contrast to the gritty military angle – having the joes face off against characters like zartan, destro and storm shadow. the episodes where they travel back in time to medieval england or first century greece? oh dear.
