I forgot to mention that Andrew and Elizabeth Shue grew up mostly in South Orange and Maplewood, NJ.
Speaking of Voltron sneakers, have you seen the Japanese Transformers Sneakers? They’re half scale transforming robot shoes. One is Prime and the other is Megatron.

Hi Esteban. Thanks for the link to the Transformers sneakers. Those are insane! We’ll definitely have to talk about them in an upcoming episode. I wonder if anyone has tried to wear them?
Yeah, I don’t know what’s up with Takara releasing all that weird stuff in Japan. I personally think they look like butt. As far as I know Hasbro hasn’t announced they’ll be bringing them over here. Takara does have some cool ideas coming up like a working Soundwave MP3 player. If you google “music label soundwave” you’ll see pictures of that. But man those shoes are just crazy.
i’ve seen maybe less than 10 seconds of the actual dr. phil, but i know your impressions are accurate. and a sarcastic ‘thanks again’ for making me laugh while listening to my mp3 player on the train and getting funny looks. you need to stop impersonating dr. phil before i can be allowed back on that train line.
