Just when I thought rock music couldn’t possibly get any worse, I saw this two-and-a-half minute video of a band in Finland performing “Hotel California” by The Eagles.
It’s still not as bad as when Van Halen played in North Carolina last year though: Van Halen – Jump (Greensboro, North Carolina, 9/29/07)
Holy Jeez, these guys are like if you gave all these instruments to a bunch of 8 year olds.
1. Why does the one guy have an entire harmonica INSIDE his mouth?!?!?!?!?
2. How the heck can you tell this is Hotel California?
3. Perhaps you are supposed to play the audio backwards? Remember we played our talking backwards and sounded Finnish.
The guy on the accordion plays the intro to “Hotel California.” I guess the rest of them are supposed to be backing him up.
It’d be funny if the guy with the harmonica in his mouth accidentally swallowed it!
First, I thought it sounded like Sweet Child of Mine at the beginning – not a good version, of course. Second, I think it would be awesome if the guy swallowed the harmonica. Then, every time he talked it would make a harmonica noise. There should be a movie about that.
