i’m sorry… but i never liked ‘macho man’ randy savage; even as a young teenager. i always got the impression he thought wrestling in general and his character was ‘real’ – if that makes sense? i know wrestlers are phenomenal athletes and actors and larger-than-life personalities; but he always seemed to be trying too hard and sometimes it looked he wanted the success of hulk hogan. he never really showed – to me at least – his humorous side during WWF shows. he also appeared on a british documentary hosted by louis theroux and he seemed unbelievably arrogant and ignorant. i’ll wait for the hate mail…
