talk of the AI characters in films sounds like the talk of the 3D craze about 15 years ago. hollywood is already de-aging older actors, along with the continuous remakes or reboots; showing me they don’t have any actors with any charisma and still rely on previous generations who can hold the attention of the audience. i think johnny depp is the last actual film star and he’s on his way to 60. i find the point of you feeling being phased out of pop culture due to your age very interesting; you’re not being pushed away, it is that pop culture is that awful. “spacemandavid doesn’t even listen any more” ?
We were just teasing about you not listening anymore :) I think the concept of digitally de-aging actors is strange. Plus, I wouldn’t want to be one of the artists working on de-aging someone for a movie, because I know no matter how hard I work on it, it’ll look bad.
